FAK activity exacerbates disturbed flow-mediated atherosclerosis via VEGFR2-Cbl-NF-κB signaling
biorxiv.org
Atherosclerosis develops at predictable sites in the vasculature where branch points and curvatures create non-laminar disturbed flow. This disturbed flow causes vascular inflammation by increased...

The kinesin KIF3AC recycles endocytosed integrin to polarize adhesion formation towards the leading edge
biorxiv.org
The recycling of integrin endocytosed during focal adhesion (FA) disassembly is critical for cell migration and contributes to the polarized formation of new FAs toward the leading edge. How this...

Our study recruiting now! Using ctdna to guide whether to have systemic treatment in early stage melanoma - amazing response from UK to get this q addressed- we already have 7 sites open in the first month and our first patient randomised! @CR_UK funded 🎉🎉
The Detection-2 feasibility study is now open looking at using a ctDNA blood test to guide treatment for patients with high-risk stage 2B/2C/3A cutaneous melanoma who have had surgery to remove it. It will be open for 1year in at least 8centres across the UK
