The Ukrainian injured soldiers who were admitted to JSDF Iruma Hospital in JASDF Iruma base on April 24 for their rehabilitation were discharged safely on May 29. We will continue to provide our utmost support to Ukraine, closely cooperating with the international community.

On 20-22 May, #KokuJieitai members participated in JMOD/JSDF Gender Focal Point Course and deepened their knowledge to promote #WPS from the instructors from the Netherlands and Canada. #JASDF will continue to promote our #WPS initiatives.
#JMOD/#JSDF convened its first Gender Focal Point Course from May 20 to 22. Through lectures by instructors from 🇳🇱🇨🇦 and a series of group works, 50 plus uniformed and civilian personnel acquired solid knowledge to further promote #WPS and reflect in their respective activities.

On May 26, first-ever Hand Over Ceremony of #OSA was held in Suva, capital of the Republic of #Fiji 🇫🇯. Col Mori from #JASDF has participated. He also had meetings with Fiji Military Forces. JASDF will continue contributing to the regional peace and stability. #FOIP
On May 26, in Suva, the Republic of #Fiji, the Handover Ceremony for Official Security Assistance (#OSA) took place.This is the first delivery of equipment through OSA since the establishment of the programme in 2023.

May 21-23, in #DSEI #JASDF displayed models of our equipment, conducted bilateral meetings with 🇹🇭🇵🇭 by #LtGenOGASAWARA , and participated in the conference. JASDF will continue promoting cooperation on defense equipment and technology.

#JASDF is continuing the projects for the development of tactical unmanned aerial vehicles that can collect information closer to the target to ensure the effectiveness of standoff defense capabilities for the fundamental reinforcement of defense capabilities.

#JASDF participated in the multilateral SSA exercise #GlobalSentinel 2025 held at Vandenberg SFB in 🇺🇸. JASDF will continue working to contribute to the stable use of space.🚀🛰️ @US_SpaceCom
From April 28 to May 9, we participated in #GlobalSentinel25 hosted by USSPACECOM (@US_Spacecom) to improve SSA coordination procedure with 30 countries and organizations. We will build relationship with allied and like-minded countries to contribute to stable use of Space.
