I can’t imagine how exhilarating it must’ve been as a Godzilla fan or Toho exec seeing this for the first time in 2014. Absolute game changer.

Why do things seem so dire for MV Godzilla?.
Kong is crucial to creating a more social and emotional Godzilla. Godzilla expressed more emotions through his interactions with Kong than literally every other Kaiju in the Monsterverse. You cannot have a Godzilla centered story about him growing more expressive without Kong
