New preprint alert!📣 @DibusMichal and team take a deep dive into Tensin1 liquid-liquid phase separation (LLPS) and the mechanisms of how it regulates adhesion dynamics! Check out the preprint here: https://t.co/RAIC1RgaNd

Jasmin from @IvaskaLab will defend her thesis this Friday!
FM Jasmin Kaivolan väitöskirjassa tutkittiin, kuinka mekaanisten voimien palauttaminen voi heikentää syöpää edistävää signalointia äänihuulen syövässä. Kudoksen tasapainon ylläpitäminen mekaanisten voimien suhteen on tärkeä syövän estämisessä. https://t.co/QnC1mQvAsw

Excited to share some of my PhD findings! Go check out how A/B polarity orientation is controlled in CRC metastasis @IvaskaLab @JaulinLab ▶️
The most recent preprint from our most recent PhD graduate Dr Nicolas Pasquier. Orientation of mucinous CRC apicobasal polarity is regulated by tumor-stroma interactions. This work was a collaboration with @JaulinLab at the Gustave Roussy Institute. https://t.co/eDkR7NrzdS

Ivaska Lab has now moved to @bluesky 🦋!! We will keep this handle active for a few more weeks during this transition, although all the fun science updates will soon only be 'there' :) You can find us with the same name, looking forward to re-connecting with everyone😊

About a month ago, I defended my thesis prepared in @IvaskaLab and @JaulinLab A day full of science, and the end of a big life chapter for me!
Congratulations to our new Dr Nicolas Pasquier who beautifully defended his PhD thesis yesterday, in front of 6 jury members! Nicolas has been a joint PhD student b/w us and the @JaulinLab at Gustave Roussy.

New pre-print! @Follain_Ga and team develop a super cool pipeline to work out the intricacies of immune and PDAC cell adhesion to HUVECs and extravasation under flow. Fantastic collab with @guijacquemet lab and @SalmiLab. Congrats🥂 Take a look here:

Leukocyte extravasation is a key component of the innate immune response, while circulating tumor cell extravasation is a critical step in metastasis formation. Despite their importance, the mechan...

We wrote a fun review all about the different types of mechanosensing and the ways cells regulate these important processes. Check it out!
In their Review, @Stefano_R_Sala, @AlexiaCaillier and @pwoakes @LoyolaChicago discuss the principles and regulation of mechanosensing. https://t.co/4xCMpqi2TZ

Latest from Ivaska Lab▶️ @johannalilja_, Kaivola et al. report an unanticipated way to kill KRAS mutant cancer cells by disrupting SHANK3-KRAS interaction 👌😎 Congratulations to all the authors and check the paper out here 👉 https://t.co/jBhVwNkua6
What happens when unexpected happens!? 1) @johannalilja_ @IvaskaLab #JasminKaivola identified SHANK3 as a KRAS inhibitor 2) predicted SHANK3 depletion boosts KRASmut tumors 3) observed SHANK3 depletion kills KRAS-cells by ERK hyperactivation, apoptosis
