I tried to implement the visionOS look quite closely when writing the components for my own website, as I was really impressed. It’s a bit hypocritical now, but when done right I think it looks really cool.
With Apple moving to the glass aesthetic, I dislike that it essentially refutes the thought of a bespoke XR design language intentionally chosen for its ability to work against every real-world location/lighting conditions. That design rationality doesn’t exist for flat displays.

In the pursuit of uniformity they’ve completely lost functionality. I admire trying something new, but I just wish there was some more thought put into it than just align 1:1 with visionOS….
