I am very proud to announce that I have been appointed as a deputy district judge on the Wales Circuit in the civil jurisdiction. It is an honour to be given the opportunity to serve the public in this way. I will still continue to accept instructions as counsel as normal.

Would like to extend warm congratulations to Paul Hobson on his appointment as Circuit Judge. HHJ Paul Hobson will sit in Crime in the Crown Court at Cardiff. He will be missed, but Chambers is enormously proud of him and wishes him very well indeed

Powerful words from Jonathan Rees QC at Cardiff barristers' picket. He says colleagues have been "driven out" of the jobs they love because they could not afford to stay, and describes junior criminal barristers' median income of just £12,200 a year as "scandalous"

Chambers would like to warmly congratulate Ian Wright on his election as our new Head of Chambers. He succeeds Stephen Rees, who has led Chambers since 2015. We wish Stephen well for his "post HoC" life and thank him for his hard work in the role.
