My cue to re-read this gem. I have not read anything like book yet!.
Finished this book and I think I'm a little traumatised, wow. Just when you think you've seen the height of suffering. No one in this book was happy, generation after generation repeating the same morbid mistakes. 10/10 recommendation 💙(PS: It doesn't get better).PC: Pinterest.

It is not enough to just say “that is not my responsibility” “the CEO should have done that” “I do not have the expertise”. Does this mean that then reports, vouchers, minutes aren’t reviewed periodically to ensure the body you’re heading is working in the right way?.

True, you might not be expected to participate in the daily affairs of the council, however, you are expected to know how things are going (like every head of any constituted body) to know if things are being done right.

El oh el 😂😂😂 . Banking on decentralisation as indications of democratic values doesn’t absolve the responsibility of ensuring quality service delivery, both as the chair of council and the overall head of KMC. This is where I feel Mayor Talib has failed massively!.
