Violence doesn’t come from a vaccuum. It is normalized, institutionalized and nurtured in our society. Every little excuse, every change room joke, every impunity …creates the system that teaches our boys and men that violence towards women is OKAY.

Let’s stop excusing actions as just mistake, teach boys that boundaries should be respected at all times, that violence is never acceptable. That trust and loyalty are fundamental in any relationship. That mishaps have consequences and responsibility matters.
