Brilliant news. I see lots of the usual antivax responses from people who seem to be pro-misery in children; if they'd seen how sick this can make some kids they might feel differently. "Sure didn't we all get chickenpox, and I'm fine" is Neanderthal thinking.

Babies born from this month onwards will now be offered the chickenpox vaccine, which is being added to the HSE immunisation scheme

Babies born between September 2024 and February 2025 will now be offered immmunisation against RSV. RSV is a common virus that causes coughs and colds.
