The Embassy was delighted to support the Irish Midlands Youth Orchestra and the Irish Chamber Youth Orchestra at their performance at the Musikverein this month during the 11th World Orchestra Festival, and to meet some proud parents in the audience. Bravo to all involved! 👏🎻🎺

Wir möchten @BMeinl @MFA_Austria #TeamBMEIA für die Unterstützung der heutigen Ausreise irischer Staatsbürger aus Israel nach Österreich danken. Embassy team was on hand to assist the Irish group, who thanked Austria for its kind assistance & hospitality on the long journey home.
Heute früh habe ich am Flughafen Schwechat 155 Menschen, darunter vor allem Österreicher, empfangen, die wir mit einem vom Außenministerium organisierten Sonderflug aus Sharm El Sheikh sicher nach 🇦🇹 bringen konnten. Sie waren zuvor per Bus aus Israel evakuiert worden. Insgesamt

Happy Bloomsday from Vienna! The Embassy was delighted to partner with the Hauptbücherei am Gürtel to give away 150 books by classic and contemporary Irish authors. Chairman of the Vienna City Council Thomas Reindl and author Julya Rabinowich joined to launch the initiative. 📚🇮🇪
