We did a quick survey on our WhatsApp community today, asking teachers to share how confident they are in teaching the new Senior Cycle Science specifications. Disappointingly, it would seem the vast majority lack confidence in their ability. #edchatIE

A pretty emphatic response to a recent survey on our WhatsApp Community … teachers need guidance and support to help them navigate AI in their classrooms. It’s now almost 500 days since @NormaFoleyTD1 promised “comprehensive guidelines” on AI for teachers. It’s shameful.

According to @JohnConneely17 while the physics paper contained a good choice of questions, it contrasted with “very limited choice” in the sample Leaving Cert physics exam papers for the new physics specification due to be introduced in schools September!.
