Clontarf this lovely Sunday evening. Gloves were needed but the air was crisp and fresh. Taken from the wooden bridge to Dollymount. @ClontarfTimes1 @loveclontarf_ie

This is why you should not eat nuts on a plane. A friends child went into anaphylaxis because of it. Please read and share.

Today's DAY MOON from Clontarf. Copernicus crater almost in the centre, the 'Ocean of Storms' and 'Mare Cognitum' (Sea that became known) and others clearly visible. In daytime! Wikipedia have a great map of the moon's seas and craters under the heading 'Lunar mare'.

I'm noticing lately a lot of nostalgia for the 1990s, which means RIP dot IE to me! When nostalgia is 3 decades after your birth, and that decade meant being run off your feet in your 30s โ work, mother, parents โ you know you are in sniper alley. ๐๐๐

Cormorant yesterday as seen from the Tolka Estuary Greenway, Dublin, Ireland. I love how from my home in the #NorthStrand I can inhale fresh sea air within a few minutes cycle, or a bracing walk. The bird life is a joy along this greenway.

Son of a Shoah Survivor | Interview with Oliver Sears. From his family experience, to how it informs his own life, to art, this in-depth interview elucidates the necessity of critical thinking, risks of certainty, and ultimate optimism. https://t.co/mQ0khYOFKX via @YouTube

If you are heading to @WoodiesIreland today be aware that what their website says is 'in store' may not be in store. I cycled to Woodies Glasnevin yesterday to find they did not have what I needed though web said they did. Was told a system upgrade is the problem. Note I cycled๐ด

I always love the peaceful #NorthStrand on a bank holiday weekend. You could hear a pin drop! Beautiful sunny day, blue skies, gorgeous Autumn colours. Just in from a cycle up to the seafront, only 20 minutes to St Anne's Park and the beach opposite. I love living here!

Congratulations to @CarrickOn for winning the #tidytowns 2025. Great to see Leitrim do so well. A much ignored stunningly beautiful county with @leitrimcoco and Leitrim Development playing their role. Well deserved!

Four H1 buses in a row failed to turn up yesterday, Baldoyle to city. Over an hour wait. This morning Heuston 9.05 to Portlaoise running 15 minutes late. And people are supposed to ditch their cars? I got up at 6am to get somewhere I may now miss. @TFIupdates @DarraghOBrienTD

I am a huge fan of travelling by @IrishRail One of the reasons is getting work done en route, or snoozing! This is why I upgrade to 1st class. Great announcement leaving Mallow re minimum chat & no phone calls. One hour later, please replay announcement! ๐

2/2 One elderly lady explained their train in the UK yesterday took 9 instead of 4 hours after a tree fell though a window in Storm Amy. She was exhausted and upset and there was zero direction given to anyone from the ferry port as to the quickest way to walk.
