Q: How can other young people use their voice to advocate for climate justice? A: Every child and young person is a crucial part of the solution to the climate and nature crises, and because of this, their voices deserve to be heard.

Q: What did you learn on the project? A: This project furthered my belief in the power of the voice of children and young people, and how they really come into their own when a space for them to voice their opinions is created. We need to empower our young people,

and taking some time to listen to nature's sounds around us! It's so important for us to reconnect with nature, and the best way to do this is by being out in it, appreciating its beauty! I also did one of the pieces of artwork featured in the book!

Q: What ideas did you suggest for the Biodiversity Activity Book? A: I thought it would be really nice to have some activities that involved actually getting out into nature, and from this we all worked as a team to come up with activities like nature spotting,

project that would be making teaching resources based off of the Assembly for schools all over Ireland, and of course I said yes! Education is so important, especially for our young people - if they don't know what's going on, they can't understand how to change it! π

Back in late Sept/early Oct, I (@jonnyhhanson) did a @IrelandsEnviro takeover of part of my carnivore coexistence research roadtrip across the USA. I'm just back from Nepal where I'm making @NIScreen funded short film about coexisting with snow leopards in the Annapurna Himalaya!
