This time next year Ireland will assume the rotating Presidency of the Council of the EU 🗓️🎯. The next 12 months will be a busy period of preparation as we get ready to lead the European policy agenda and deliver for citizens, communities and businesses across the EU 🇮🇪🇪🇺.
One year from today, 1 July 2026, Ireland will take on the Presidency of the Council of the European Union 🇪🇺 . The Presidency is an opportunity for Ireland to lead the European policy agenda and deliver results for citizens, communities and businesses across the EU.
