7 years ago was the Borderline bar and grill shooting and shortly after began the Camp Fire, Woolsey Fire. A devastating week for the communities involved as well as what began where I am today with listening to the scanner and updating.(1/2)

A narrow line of very heavy rain is just crossing into coastal Los Angeles County, moving from west to east. This line is will likely reach the Franklin and Palisades burn area by 9am. Avoid this area.

Storm Update: Rain is moving through, there is a line of heavy showers passing Santa Barbara that I am monitoring. Below is expanded evac warnings for area near the Palisades fire

Because of this, LACO has put out evac warnings for areas near the Palisades, Eaton, Franklin(along with a shelter in place), and Canyon fire burn scar. Photos of areas are below in the respective order. Maps are found on Project Genasys. H/t @ScannerPacific for posting the map.

Today we are announcing the arrest of 29-year-old Jonathan Rinderknecht on a criminal complaint charging him with maliciously starting what became the Palisades Fire in January. 
The complaint alleges that Rinderknecht's started a fire in Pacific Palisades on New Year's Day --
