Just shared a hug and some tears with the loveliest paramedics. They’ve dealt so bravely this morning with just the most awful situation. How they pull themselves together with a cup of tea before heading out to another call staggers belief -these are my heroes.

Custody review time ⏰for detainees held overnight. It’s my duty to ensure detentions are still necessary and lawful. I check on their condition and welfare provision. I often miss working in custody, where Team Work really counts!!! And the ☕️and biscuits are always 1st class!
