There is no defensible historical basis to state that Jesus was Palestinian whatsoever, and the fact that people are so desperate to say he was is, as I pointed out, just proof-positive that it's about erasing Jewish identity from the Levant rather than anything else.

Religious Jews who are Palestinian ethnically or by nationality might exist, or ethnic Jews who are Palestinian by nationality might, or mixed Jewish-Palestinian ethnicity individuals exist, but these are all vanishingly small. Visible Jews in Palestine tend to end up lynched.

The "Jesus was Palestinian" discourse is extremely clearcut antisemitism. It's not "protesting Israel". It's not "resisting Zionism". Jesus was Jewish, Mary was Jewish, Bethlehem was part of the Roman province of Judea. You're just trying to erase Jews from the Levant.
