I note that several of the mana whenua initiatives is housing builds. We do need more housing and the fix shouldn't look like this legislation. The govt is just leveraging the poverty of our whānau to get this horrific legislation some Māori support.

Rūnanga that use this legislation are in the same bed as prison expansion, water theft through irrigation schemes, climate polluting roads and mines. There is no good conscience in staying on the Fast Track project list.

Look through and if you spot your iwi/trust/rūnanga, send them an email asking for them to pull their project from the list. Rūnanga have to take a principled stand against this, not just think about their own pockets.

Have a listen to our co-director @LisaMcLaren2013 respond to the government's climate non-plan. Either the government is committed to meeting our climate change targets, or they can fast-track oil, gas and coal mining. They cannot do both. https://t.co/UDwdbh2RCF

Of course also answered relief and success for communities and lands like Palestine and Kanaky. As we move into remembering those who have passed in the last year, hold our siblings in struggle around the world close too.

Yesterday I was asked what my hiwa i te rangi wishes are for the coming year. I answered some decent climate policy because the coast desperately needs it. Just got the news that my mum was woken by police at 3:40am to evacuate Haumoana because of coastal flooding. What timing 😩

Great piece in the @TheSpinoffTV about our campaign to #EndPrivateJets today. People who use private jets benefit from operating in the shade. In the middle of the climate crisis, we can start by reducing some of the most wasteful emissions. https://t.co/KVS0CeDoop

You'll never set foot in one. But its emissions still effect you.
