At the Forum last August, Australia’s Ambassador for Climate Change Kristin Tilley said Canberra’s bid to host #COP31 in 2026 was “not yet locked in.” Türkiye has also bid to host the Conference of the Parties, and Tilley said “we are working with them for an amicable outcome.”
