Tyrann Mathieu in Kansas City helped change the entire dynamic of the defense. Brings swagger, playmaking, and so much more to the team. The amount of disrespect he continually gets is astonishing. I have nothing but good things to say about him and pray he stays in KC.
Chad Henne will forever be remembered for what he did yesterday. He earned a ton of respect from a lot of Chiefs fans, as he should. Was an incredible moment for him
Patrick Mahomes is only 26 years old and will be playing in, and hosting, his 4th consecutive AFC championship game. Don’t take this greatness for granted. It’s a different kind of dominance
Patrick Mahomes, assuming he’s cleared, will have started his starting career with 3 straight trips to the AFC Championship game. Go ahead Chiefs fans, you’ve waited a long time for this. Celebrate
If CBS isn’t going to let Tony Romo call out plays and diagnose on the fly, they should just fire him. That was the entertainment value he added. He sucks otherwise
Patrick Mahomes first TWO NFL seasons: Loses in the AFC Championship game after coming back to take the lead late, but wins NFL MVP
THE VERY NEXT YEAR- Comes back in the 4th Quarter to WIN the Super Bowl and wins SB MVP. I still can’t get over this guy
On his TD catch, Travis Kelce nearly pitches this to Pacheco. Watch Pacheco run up to Kelce and you can see him turn his head and almost pitch it. I slowed it down so you can see, these guys out here trying to play street ball lol
I've been harsh on CEH but I will defend him here. By the time he turns his shoulders north that LB and safety are on him asap. They'd be unblocked. The IOL gets push and I understand why he followed them.
The Chiefs have the two best defensive players left in the playoffs, imo. Mathieu and Jones are going to leave their Mark on this AFC championship game. You can take that to the bank
This is clearly a penalty on Hightower, no need to throw Mahomes out of bounds. Now watch the end and tell me you wouldn't want Cam Erving as a teammate. Dude flies in to protect
@PatrickMahomes
after the play, great teammate
The Chiefs have the youngest defense in the NFL. They fly around the field , execute tons of games/rotations/looks, have real team speed, and give HIGH effort all game. Their transformation over the last few seasons has been awesome to witness.
Justin Watson now has a 23.5% drop percentage, he's more than double the second highest % in KC(guess who). Of all players in KC with 20 or more targets, only one WR has 0 drops. It's Skyy Moore.
I know KC remade that OL to help Patrick but good lord they were moving people all day in the run game. Bengals dropped 8 and dared them to run the ball, they didn’t.
Kadarius Toney has added more than just a shifty presence to KC's offense. He plays PHYSICALLY. He wants to punish defenders and that feeds into the team. Love the effort here
The Chiefs have a WR problem. Rashee Rice is a good player but that’s not gonna do it. If you’re rotating 6 different receiver in as much as they are, there’s a problem.
Exciting Injury Update:
After tearing his ACL during an indoor training camp practice in late July, it looks like our guy
#Chiefs
DB Nazeeh Johnson is ready to rock! Excited to have him back!

@BrownKbrown3181
@JohnsonNazeeh
RIP Clyde. Idk what the rest of the season holds for him but it appears KC is cutting their losses and moving on. I’ll always have a soft spot for him, I still think he can be a productive player, but KC is not likely where that happens.
The Chiefs are so good people have to pick apart wins over playoff caliber opponents in close games just to have something to talk about. Its arrived
#ChiefsKingdom
the moment you’ve all been waiting a very long time for
What are the odds Mahomes throws his first September pick and CEH has his first NFL fumble in a game the Chiefs lose by one? Just think about that crazy shit lol
Going back and watching the offense in 2018 and then watching Mahomes at the line of scrimmage this season, but especially in the playoffs, is jaw dropping. He’s in total control and sees everything. He’s still getting better
The Chiefs have their Mike in Bolton the rest of the season. Put Hitch at Sam and Willie at Will and that’s your 3 starters. Nickel should be Bolton and Willie.
I can see it now if the Chiefs pull out the victory on Thursday Night:
“But he still has a top 5 OL!”
“But he still has Reid!”
The goal posts will always move to try and take greatness away from Mahomes.
Time to give Spags some flowers. He adjusted to everything the Bengals showed in that game. That was a brilliant chess match between the Chiefs defense and Bengals offense. What the defensive staff has done with such a young group is impressive.
The Chiefs brought in bigger receivers than we’ve seen in recent years to go against the grain of needing receivers that separate and create YAC in todays NFL. I swear if Andy doesn’t let Mahomes throw more 50/50 balls I’m gonna lose it
Patrick went to his “most trusted” wide receivers in key moments late in the game yesterday and they let him down. Then he got up on the podium and shouldered blame. That’s a leader.
I love Mahomes but we all knew he wasn’t getting All-Pro first team, probably not even 2nd team. But to not receive A VOTE.
This should be a fun postseason
