Fantastic to see @imperialcollege expertise featured in @BBCNews! 👏 Dr. Clair Barnes, lead author of a new study, highlights how climate change is increasing the risk of devastating LA wildfires.
Climate change was a major factor that led to the hot, dry weather that gave rise to the LA fires. Climate change made those weather conditions about 35% more likely, according to the World Weather Attribution, led by @Grantham_IC researchers 🔽.
