10 years ago I moved to Switzerland for a postdoc, thinking I'd return to Brazil in 1-3 years. Life had other plans and I stayed abroad! Now I'm loving life in the Netherlands while building collaborations with Brazilian labs. Kind of reverse-engineering the original plan.
