Feeling supported is a non-negotiable part of the culture at @dasd_bhes. I’m here BH!
#ThoughtForTheDay The amount of support that some students need for even the smallest of gains in learning can feel overwhelming at times. Hence, why it’s imperative that we cultivate a trusting, supportive culture so staff never hesitates to ask for help. #Culturize

I had the privilege of seeing @iworkmeaningful present on Circles of Grace at a Diversity 4.0 conference in 2018. It was great then and his explanation in this video is equally good. It is a must watch!

Starting today, and for the several years, every Monday morning, I'm going to make a book recommendation for educators of Black children. If I post it, that means I strongly recommend it. We will start with this gem. I encourage you to share with other educators.

So proud of our Downingtown students for planning and implementing such a beautiful and peaceful protest, and also to M&M for creating such a phenomenal video. Their bravery is inspiring. https://t.co/qBK4oFdxrt

Even in crisis, teachers con't to give give give. You give your time, heart, soul, and your all for your students. The only thing you don't give is up. And that is what makes you amazing!

In thinking about all of the things that we are letting go of while we are in this shut down (work and home stuff), I wonder how many of them we really need to pick back up when we re-open? I hope we think deeply about how to proceed before we go back by accident.
