Congratulations also to Dr. David Huang who received his first RO1 to study intraoperative VT ablation in LVAD patients. Dr. Huang and our experienced advanced heart failure/cardiac surgery teams will lead this important multicenter clinical trial in the US @UR_Med @URMed_AHF.

We have initiated this week the CONFIRM-AF study. Randomized multisite clinical trial (30 sites) coordinated by our center at the University of Rochester for early detection of atrial fibrillation using an insertable cardiac monitor in patients with heart failure.
