The government should set guidelines on how much a room can be rented out in public housing..
Single mother Hawwa lived in a 2 room apartment paying 10k for rent. She gave tuition & rented 1 room to help her pay rent. After getting Hiya flat & moving there she earns little but manages by renting a room. Now @MMuizzuโs govt wants to ban renting rooms in social housing.

BML will not charge 30% fee for their CREDIT CARDS! More people will now get BML credit cards & BML will get billions of MVR in credit card interest, late fees, and annual charges. It seems like our poverty is @bankofmaldivesโs profit. Is this a bank or the devil ?

Protests are by design disruptive. It is not the job of the job of the protesters to make it easy for those who are far too comfortable with what is being protested against. Plan, plot, strategise, organise, and act. Good luck to the youth.
Protests are meant to be seen and heard. Peaceful assembly is a protected right, even if it causes disruption. Protests may impact daily routines, traffic, or business, but that alone is not a valid reason to stop them.
