It’s very interesting that when white folks fly out to work in Africa they are called “Expats” but when the UK went to actively recruit nurses in Africa to bring them to the UK they are still referred to as “immigrants”
These words heavily contribute to racial bias and profiling.

When Applying to Universities please do your due diligence, Ask questions, please don’t ask home students their experiences are usually and will be different from yours, Ask other international students, Check out their website and look at the ratio of International students

2️⃣Nigerians are still banned from accessing employment visas from the USA.

1️⃣Have a 4- year plan
2️⃣You need at least a year’s worth of post clinical experience.
3️⃣Working in a specialty gives you an edge. IE. Peri-operative nursing, ICU, A&E or in a Surgical placement.
