It's one of those day when I can't stop thinking about Hitler's Breitspurbahn project. Why does someone just build it anyway?

Well, when you put it like this:

I’m strongly in favour of pro-natalism, freedom of expression and fighting Chinese influence (don’t care about trans rights), but I’m also in favour of fighting American influence and making sure the Heritage Foundation stays the F out of Europe!
The conservative think tank behind Donald Trump’s Project 2025 roadmap is looking for new friends across the Atlantic. On the agenda: pro-natalism, freedom of expression, opposing trans rights and fighting Chinese influence. 🔗 https://t.co/UyZmMRerEP

A Floating timeline is not something the Simpsons invented. Batman was an adult man in his prime in the 30s, he still is now. Tintin was a kid in the 30s, he still is now. Spider-Man was a teenager in the 60s, he still is now, et cetera.
The Simpsons is the ultimate boomer program - because it tries to freeze time around their lives, with increasingly absurd results. Marge is supposed to be 34 - but she was 34 in 1989, meaning she was born in 1955. She is canonically 70 now, and Maggie is around 36. Principal

Iran deported 1.5 million people back to Afghanistan this year and you probably didn’t even hear about it. Meanwhile Labour is killing itself over immigration and giving easy wins to Reform because they aren’t willing to deport a few hundred criminals.

There are preferable alternatives.
The European project is fundamentally incomplete without Russia. This is because Russia is the key to the security of Europe. Europe has natural borders on all directions but East — the Russian side. If Russia is friendly, Europe is secure. If Russia is hostile, it is not.

Every Western government from 91 to 22, + the current Trump admin, has tried to befriend Russia at the expense of other Eastern European countries. They all realized that Russia is the problem. It will continue to be a problem as long as the Russian Federation is allowed to exist
It really was the grave mistake of Europe to integrate minor Eastern European states before Russia. Now Kaja Kallases of the world are destroying all possibilities for true future peace with their petty ethnic grievances. What a disaster.

Potentially adopting the Danish model is very good news for Britain. Of course, if Starmer does not flip-flop or completely botch the execution, the two things he loves doing the most. @oroborous @ConstantTrubert @EasterGammon
