The last exchange🥹 This is why I started @ITAV_campaign. Black Blood donors have saved my sister’s precious life❤️ I know how life changing donating is & didn’t want other’s with Sickle Cell to continue to go without- as they often do due to low donations Thank U @GiveBloodNHS
My little sister had her last blood exchange today after 6 years of cyclically going to the hospital every 4-5 weeks for blood exchanges to treat sickle cell. She will be having bi-weekly blood transfusions instead now in preparation for our bone marrow transplant to CURE her!🥹
