I had the pleasure of sharing my research on autistic adults' views on commonly-used measures for assessing loneliness @ITAKOM_CONF earlier this month. I made my poster available for anyone who is interested in this research⬇︎ #itakom

There’s a wee update on our home page with a few snippets of simply LOVELY delegate feedback. If you’ve yet to complete the feedback form we sent out, please do so! We really want to learn from this event, and share that learning with others. https://t.co/iRW4edlyrE

I am so very happy and so grateful to be a part of neuropoint. I had an absolute blast being a part of our session @ITAKOM_CONF and really getting to share our lived experience(s) in such an experiential way.

…strive for greater and greater inclusion at any future events. We’d love to see more people of colour both presenting and attending for example, and to open up the experience for people with a learning disability. For now thanks for your attention and your event feedback!

…had such visible neurodiversity in the event and to have created an atmosphere of affirmation (as lots of you have told us already). We think that success was evident and we don’t need numbers in this case to back it up. That said, we can and will…

…particular you might want to select “neurodivergent person” if you attended purely in that capacity and not also as an academic, doctor or teacher etc. We know this will result in an underestimate of how many ND folk were there and that’s ok. We are so proud to have…

Hello folks! Our conference feedback survey went out yesterday and at the start you need to select the capacity in which you attended the conference - researcher, practitioner, neurodivergent person etc. We didn’t mean to set these up as exclusive options! This means you…

We missed @PaulIsaacs22 in person. Some of the attendees left to listen online. Unfortunately, technical issues. Recording to be shared with those who attended and those who booked for @PaulIsaacs22 session.. Great discussion and new dates soon with @PDASociety @PaulIsaacs22

My main highlight @MindroomInform @ITAKOM_CONF was seeing a community of people coming together to talk openly and honestly about the challenges they face. More importantly however, a community that will now demand change and I was very proud of that 👍❤️

Lots of questions about how people who weren’t delegates can access the #ITAKOM content. We’re working this out but nothing is likely to happen in the next 3 months. The folk who paid to attend to have exclusive access otherwise they may be (understandably) annoyed that they…
