The CCM is the int'l treaty of more than 100 States that prohibits cluster munition use, production, transfer, stockpiling and assists victims of these weapons.

Today, the Convention on Cluster Munitions celebrates the 17th anniversary of its signing in Oslo in 2008. After 17 years of important humanitarian disarmament achievements, the Presidency of the Lao PDR invites all to the incoming third Review Conference in Vientiane next year

Such a pleasure to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Lao PDR with Ambassador Daovy Vongxay and his team today in Geneva. Among its achievements, Lao PDR has been a humanitarian disarmament champion which will guide the Third Review Conference next year @LaoPDR_CCM3RC
