Her current work with NEST360 continues her lifelong mission: reducing preventable neonatal mortality across 5 African countries. Her research spans neonatal care, infectious diseases, tropical oncology, emergency care, and health systems — a testament to her extraordinary impact

In Blantyre, she helped establish the emergency unit, paediatric palliative care, KMC unit, and oncology services — transforming paediatric care across Malawi and beyond.

A true global leader in paediatric emergency care, she is co-founder of APLS (Advanced Paediatric Life Support) and ETAT (Emergency Triage Assessment and Treatment) for the WHO.
