The #IHSA was saddened to hear of the recent passing of Andre Morgan. He was an @IHSAOfficials in four sports, including being a State Final umpire in baseball. Andre was also very active in the IHSA Wrestling community. Our condolences go out to all of his family and friends.

Illinois Basketball Fact: Once in a while the question comes up when was the 1st time we had 3 officials work a game. We know that IBCA HOF Official Carl Johnson was part of a 3-man crew at the 1951 Bradley University Tournament.

My favorite part of this is the trail official (bottom right). A fist bump and naturally polite applause heading back down the floor. Of course refs understand the importance of these moments. We’re human. Sportsmanship where ever possible. Grow the game. Well done!! @IHSA_IL
Heyworth Varsity & JV were both in action tonight at different sites in their respective @HOIConference Tournaments, which allowed our manager Kaden Esposito to suit up. Coach Yoder & his @FC74falcons squad showed incredible class, leading to a moment Kaden will never forget!
