Great news! @ModernizeCmte was widely recognized as one of most functional, bipartisan, and innovative in Congress, even doing a Deliberative Town Hall with IDEA and a rep sample of citizens on how to improve Congress. Hopeful the subcommittee will continue to make progress!
Today’s news that the modernization efforts of the 116th and 117th Congresses will continue in the form of a subcommittee in the 118th Congress is a win for the institution, the public servants who work there, and the people they serve. Read more: https://t.co/fUOqqzehzL

It was an honor for IDEA's director @MichaelNeblo to testify before @ModernizeCmte on ways to make town halls and other forums more deliberative and representative.
Today the Modernization Committee held a roundtable discussion with experts on civic engagement to explore opportunities to make it easier for every American to engage with the Legislative Branch.
