We showed Ben our cell culture room, where we grow cells in a controlled environment to simulate the human body. We explained how we provide nutrients and the right conditions for cell growth, supporting #DrugDevelopment by testing therapies and finding new therapeutic targets 💊

This included a tour of our electron microscopy suite where we showed how detailed images of proteins can enable us to better understand their structure - a crucial step which tells us vital information such as what causes mutations and how drugs might be best able to bind 🧬
