Ahmed El Ahmad disarmed one of the Islamist terrorists at Bondi Beach, risking his own life while tackling the terrorist from behind. He was shot in the shoulder and arm by the other terrorist moments later but survived. A true hero!
The hero's name was Ahmed El Ahmad. Confirmed by the news: 43 year old father of two, fruit shop owner in Sutherland. I offer him my infinite respect. A great Australian hero.
