While being held at the police station, Diah began to have contractions and was moved to the police hospital where she gave birth. An IBJ defender was quickly informed of Diah’s case and successfully secured her transfer to a safe house, where she is now caring for her baby.

Apprehensive, Diah decided to go through with the procedure in order to be able to work and support the new child. Shortly thereafter, police raided the apartment and falsely arrested Diah for illegal abortion charges. (2/3)
