We were born too late to explore the earth, too early to explore the universe, but just in time to explore the latent space of human intelligence

It's depressing to think how many more people could be a short walk from Golden Gate Park

What is being grounded? Good question. It's being mentally stable, but more importantly – being sane, because you're rooted in the ground truth. Holding fast to maps that match the territory both empirically (accurate) and for justified reasons (made with sound methods and data),

@littIeramblings I would simply like you to appreciate that you have found yourself in a bubble of people who are not grounded. This often happens to writers and other creatives with more empathy and eloquence than mental stability, it could have been Extinction Rebellion or some Anti-Fascist

A new Autonomous Vehicle trolly problem: An idiot with a dog jumps in front of a moving AV. It must swerve and hit the dog or the idiot. Prevent a human death? Or save the innocent dog?
This driverless @cruise AV (named Chorizo) was tracking both the person and their dog and managed to swerve to avoid a collision. Risking your life to prank an AV is stupid, but it's your call. Just leave your dog out of it.

Hot take: high school students applying to colleges shouldn’t always enroll in the most selective school the get into. It’s so much better being in the middle or high end of the curve in your classes. Better for mental health and career outcomes.
