Super fun to visit @JosephTumber at @HarvardForest and test out some of @WorkingTrees tech in an operational environment! Stay tuned for some exciting results.
Had a blast hosting @HydroGeoPhys from @WorkingTrees together with the newest member of the lab, PhD student Junior Burks, at @HarvardForest . We spent the day measuring trees using their amazing app that leverages phone lidar together with manual measurements to test the tech

Incredibly cool.
What would you do with 160000+historical aerial images for the US from 1938-1987. This week find this and more in the #Awesome #GEE community catalog. This along with POMELO a deep learning-based pop density map. . #EarthEngine #OpenData #opensource

We can’t manage what we don’t measure. In our new paper, we show that remote sensing data can be used to accurately measure changes in groundwater for small areas (think counties or big cities) on a near-real-time basis. See for more information. #water.
