7- Also: other founders get it. Reach out. Ask questions. Be honest about where you’re at. You might be surprised how many people respond with: “I’ve been there too," or even "Yep, I'm in it with you". That sense of connection is wildly healing.

6- And if you’re thinking: “I should be able to handle this myself.” . Please read this part slowly: . 🏋️ Elite athletes have coaches. 🧠 Great founders should too. Therapist, coach, mentor — whatever works. But don’t go it alone.

5- Next up: zoom out. Get some space. You don’t need to go to Bali for 6 weeks. But how about a long weekend? 3 or 4 days away from your screen can reset your brain. (It did wonders for Tara Viswanathan, founder of Rupa Health.). No one will judge you for a long weekend.

4- This might seem silly, but ask yourself:. Did I eat today?.Did I sleep?.Have I moved my body?.Did I step away from a screen?. Not optional. Not silly. When you're working yourself to the bone, the first things that go are basic needs. And when you skip those, everything gets.

3- So what do you do when it all feels like too much? Start small. And we mean really small. Before you pivot or fire everyone or quit. ask yourself some simple questions.

1- Social media makes startups look like a string of wins: . If you browse LinkedIn, you'll see a sea of launch announcements, fundraise celebrations, acquisitions. You don't see many "this is impossible and I want to cry" posts. But that doesn't mean founders aren't.

5- A great term sheet builds trust. It’s not just about getting the deal — it’s about being the kind of investor founders want to work with.

4- And whatever you do: . ❌ Don’t be greedy .❌ Don’t over-control .❌ Don’t play games with valuation . This isn’t Shark Tank. It’s a 10-year relationship.
