@BBUniversityWNC Less than a year ago, this region was still recovering from Hurricane Helene. Some teams didn’t even have home fields. But they pushed through. That resilience is the spirit of the mountains. #WNCStrong (7).

@BBUniversityWNC At the end of each week, I’ll tabulate the results and produce a new edition for us to use. We’ve traveled all across Western North Carolina, connecting with incredible coaches, athletic directors, principals, parents, and—most importantly—the players. (6).

@BBUniversityWNC 📈 I finally got to incorporate my analytical skills in developing a power rankings model of the teams in our coverage area and have dubbed it the “BBU+5” model as I processed 5 versions until I was happy with the results. (5).

@BBUniversityWNC I’m now comfortable troubleshooting Wi-Fi, running a video switcher, and calling a baseball game—all at once. It's been one of the most rewarding experiences of my career so far. (4).

@BBUniversityWNC These last three months brought major challenges—and even bigger learning opportunities. From tech issues to field logistics, I’ve grown my problem-solving skills and learned how to adapt on the fly. (3)
