12:47 pm: A small plane made an emergency landing in the middle lane of Highway 395.
Both the pilot and co-pilot were males who had departed from Feltzfield airport. One of them was a trainee pilot.

UPDATE: This is the latest update on the North East Spokane hostage situation stand-off.
Fortunately, no one was harmed during the incident. Two toddlers, under the age of five, were safely rescued.
The suspect, a 23-year-old male, has been taken into custody.
BREAKING: SWAT and Spokane Police are on scene at a home near E. Sanson Avenue and N. Morton Street. The public is advised to avoid the area. Multiple people have been detained.
