Yesterday we spoke outside of City Hall and shared experiences on how #FoieGras and the industry have been able to help so many across different walks of life. A ban would destroy what all of these individuals have worked so hard to achieve in their quest for the American Dream.

The amount of workers in the farm industry has gone down considerably due multiple reasons, we urge @NYCCouncil not to be another one of those reasons.

So why is @NYCCouncil trying to make the lives of farmers harder by taking away work and opportunities from hard working New Yorkers?

"Farming is hard. Farmers work from dawn to dusk, six or seven days a week. As we have seen, the amount of food they produce depends largely on factors they cannot control"
