I’ve worked retail for eons and the best part of it is building relationships with customers.
Since we're having discourse about becoming a regular at a place, the cashier at my regular spot just asked me how the first few days of school have been for me, and that's how we build community.

I go sometimes but I have to be able to have good recovery time afterwards. I don’t like crowds, I don’t function well in the heat, it’s hard to get to, it’s sooooo expensive, and I’ll feel sick if I eat fair food.

In the Shadow of the Holy Mountain by Blind Pilot was released 8/16/2024. Two of my favourite bands released two fantastic albums on the same day last year. Highly recommend them, they do a lot of really interesting layers of instrumentation. @CalebTheSpy

I love this album. I haven’t gone through and ranked SF 59 albums outside of my top 4, but this one is definitely up there. I love when Charlie Martin backs him up vocally and we’ve got a matured version of the earliest albums.

We watched Holland the other night. I’m surprised at the bad reviews for it, I thought it was fantastic. The pacing could be a touch better but there’s a scene fairly early on that is HAUNTING me and I love it.

I can’t listen to Michael W Smith’s voice. I literally left the room when my husband played his Christmas vinyl last year. It’s a small house, I could still hear it but not as loud.
