Sadly, Fr. Stan Drongowski, OP, recently died while on vacation. Fr. Stan was part of the initial Dominican community at St. Paul’s & served as associate pastor & campus minister from 2005-2012. Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him.

Yesterday was a wonderful day for Hoosier Catholic vocations. Sr. Lucia Christi (Laura) Zetzl, SV, (IU class of 2014) made her perpetual vows with the Sisters of Life. Br. Ephrem (Bart) Upart, OP, (class of 2020) made simple vows with Dominican Province of St. Albert the Great.

Welcome back to your spiritual home, Professor Frey! We look forward to hearing your talk.
For the first time since I graduated, I am returning to Indiana University-Bloomington to talk to students about truth: what it is and why it matters. Very thankful to the Dominicans @HoosierCatholic and @ThomisticInst for bringing me back to my Alma Mater.

Congratulations, Br. Nicholas Hartman, OP, IU class of 2014.
Please pray for Br. Nicholas Hartman, OP, who professed his solemn vows with @opeast today. Br. Nicholas is a @HoosierCatholic alumnus whom I got to know years ago when myself a student brother there.

The Word of God is living and effective. We need the Word in Scripture, Sacrament, and in others. We are made to share the Word through our unique role in the Body of Christ. #homily
