He’s making 27 million a year only. He just turned 27 years old. He’s on his way to winning a second World Series ring in 2 years in the show. Yamamoto, greatness.

This isn’t gonna get nearly the amount of eyes it should get. Baseball is less pay to win than either of the other big payroll sports, and it shows in our lack of dynasties in the last 30 years. There is no need for a salary cap, keep the momentum going baseball!

You could also do Shohei, Yamamoto, and Roki, that would probably be the coolest one.

Not giving it to a Dodger would be stupid as hell after how many eyes have been on them the last two years. I get you don't wanna do Ohtani again, but Yamamoto would be an amazing choice if you ever did a solo pitcher, or do all three of Mookie, Freddie, and Shohei, and lean

The more casual fans know a given teams player, the more likely they are to tune in and watch, whether they hate them or love them. Dynasties create that environment, you know who’s on the team no matter how serious of a fan you are. The Dodgers Dynasty revived baseball.

Baseball is so much bigger than Basketball right now, and we are about to have a lockout... MLB owners, please look at the money you all will make if you just don't sour the fans on the sport next offseason. Don't ruin this.
Game 7 of the 2025 World Series averaged 51million viewers combined across the United States, Canada, and Japan making it the most-watched MLB game in 34 years, since Game 7 of the 1991 World Series.

But I could also see them just being so scared to spend on relievers again, trying to spend on quantity of arms via trade to find the next Phillips or Graterol, vs trusting the traditional guy.

It's probably Devin Williams, he feels like a lock if there was any. Advanced numbers look elite, was super unlucky. The Dodgers have wanted him in the past. Kinda creates a situation where one of Williams or Scott can bounce back, and it takes the pressure off the other.
Dodgers expected to aggressively pursue a closer and right-handed late-inning arms this offseason, per @Alden_Gonzalez. Team will check in on Tarik Skubal and Kyle Tucker, but interest is expected to be "on the periphery."

They’re gonna go all out because even if there’s a cap in 2027 they’ll be grandfathered in. They weren’t gonna make them trade guys away and basically force bad deals. A three peat also probably raises the teams value above the Yankees in terms of net worth of the franchise.
I’ve seen enough, this team is about to have one of the most aggressive offseasons ever for the three-peat

Baseball has all of the momentum in the world after an all time great World Series, viewership numbers skyrocketing back up, so amazing… but a lock out at the end of next year could mess all of it up. Casual fans will jump off as quickly as they jumped on if there’s a work

One was against a team that averaged 7 runs a game and had historically the greatest offense the playoffs have ever seen. The fact that it’s even close shows you how unbelievable Yamamoto was, and he went on ZERO days rest.

Jazz Chisholm could never do it hat Miguel Rojas did in the last two games of this magic World Series. The hero truly.

I have to think… if Mookie was pinch run for with Kim, does he make it to 3rd on the single from Muncy. Does he score on the groundball from Pages?
