Frostweed (Verbesina virginica) is a great south Florida native which has a profusion of flowers in the fall. It is in the sunflower family, and is greatly sought after by pollinators.

Three Spotted Skipper in my yard. It hosts on several native grasses which are also found in my yard. It is perched in the rain on a saw palmetto frond.
