I’m hearing from Islington Labour that Praful Nargund’s campaign had such an awful start he’s thinking of quitting. Despite knocking 100s of doors over the weekend they only found 3 people who’d vote for him. Nargund close to tears & an NEC member had to persuade him to carry on.

Went on hols to Greece last week. Flash flooding. Hotel ruined & closed down. We were kicked out on the streets. Greek government opened a shelter but took all my cash, phone, my watch & both our wedding rings as “payment” for the shelter.Disgraceful. Were they wrong to do this?
