BDS Debating Society were prepping today for our next meet. We used @DebatingMatters resources to help form arguments for and against the motion;

Starting tomorrow, I'll be giving away one book every day for 12 consecutive days! To enter: simply 'Follow' me and 'Like' that day’s giveaway post. Each daily giveaway will run for 24 hours, from 8am UK time until 8am the following day. A winner will be selected at random!

Hoping our post cards have started to reach people living in our communities who have fled Darfur. Our Y10 students created and wrote these as part of their T2 genocide awareness project work. Thank you to Mr Lawrence @HamptonSchool for the collaboration and inspiration

Lovely day today running CPD on adaptive teaching and self-regulation in a school very close to me! It was fun to share locally sourced anecdotes. ☺️

One more week until I start screening Christmas films over lunch times to help with the festive cheer at BDS just call me Ms Claus-West 🤶🏼 (and help students who don’t want to be outside 🥶/ don’t want to be with the rest of the student population)
