A week after Wallop Wheels & Wings we arrived at @airtattoo. XT131 was at the first event 40 years ago in 1985. Why not come and see us over the weekend. Thanks to David Wickens and for the images.

What a great reception we had at the @armyflying premier event Wallop Wheels and Wings with lots of interest in our aircraft. The key word of the day was HOT! with plenty of people taking shelter under the wings. See you all again next year.

In other news. Looks like 820's oil leak wasn't as catastrophic as first thought and after a good thrashing she came back nice and dry. comparatively. Ts & Ps were about as good as they get so. Thanks to Dave Currie and the REME posse for their efforts. Sorry about the racket

Ello HAAFers. The Auster 9 was wheeled out for a ground run and it didn't. The words "Timing" were muttered and she came back in again. Work was done by our "Magneto experts" (Blackies) so we will see. Well done REEMs. Be. Better timed.

Fawley AFD 2025, on New Forest's edge, is known for Exxon refinery & military history: Caltrop at Cadland, airfields, AA batteries, D-Day prep with Mulberry harbours & PLUTO from Lepe. Hosts annual AFD event. We've supported with Scout/Sioux helicopter.

Thruxton retro on Saturday saw consistent engagement from veterans, service members, and the public. There was significant interest in, and surprise at, the fact that the Scout aircraft was flown in. The event continues today, so please come say hello and purchase merchandise.

Well sometimes things don't go as you expect. Four aircraft down to two and one of them wasn't originally planned. Improvise, adapt and overcome. so we did, and provided a De Havilland pair for the static display.

We are proud to be attaending the Meryrick Cox Day at Goodwood with the Sioux. Departing MW around 10:30 and returning 16:30.

Well we went. We saw. We engaged. and took these on the way back from Cosford. Don't panic, it was all briefed and planned, and the closeup of Chris concentrating hard was using a longer lens. otherwise the crewman taking it would be up for a change of flying suit!!!

In other news. Recently we had the pleasure of hosting the Timeline Events photo shoot both in Hangar three and out on Delta dispersal. It seemed to go well and air traffic were very patient with our delayed action appearances.

"The machine that goes ping". If you know. Frustratingly our AOP Mk9 has spat her dummy at the least opportune moment and in spite of the collective brains and experience of the Black and Green fixit machine, she aint appy so wont be going to Cosford with us next week however
