Very bad news for countries with young demographies like Mexico, India, Brazil, and Poland. Check out @PeterZeihan if you want to learn more about why global demography matters
Folks are asking me how pandemic-era education in other countries has fared compared to the US. What’s happening here is happening all over the world and is often worse. @EAB @PeterZeihan

Mental health issues are now a top threat to student retention, far exceeding other top threats like costs, academics, etc. This is a remarkable YOY change, and one that student success leaders should take to heart as they plan strategy. @eab Source: https://t.co/qdVnwVXFVi

We will have at least three straight years of adults with 10% fewer college degrees. In 20 years, these adults will be entering their 40s and forming the backbone of the knowledge economy. We will be living with the after effects of COVID for a looong time @PeterZeihan @EAB
When enrollment drops, retention becomes more strategically important. Here is the very latest pandemic enrollment data. Spoiler: We are still way down, but the decline has leveled off. Latinx enrollment actually grew YOY. @eab
